Teriyaki Sauce

Ganked of the web.  I couldn’t find any tamair soy sauce, so used the normal stuff.  Turned out fine.

  • 1/4       cup   tamari soy sauce (soy sauce)
  • 1     cup water
  • fresh grated ginger (about 1 Tbs. or to your taste)
  • 3     tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1     minced garlic clove
  • 2     tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4     cup cold water

Indian Rub

ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder (see Note)
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced

Spanish Rub

ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons pimentón de la Vera (Spanish smoked paprika)
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 small red onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, chopped


directions
  1. Mix all ingredients to a paste.
