Dilly Bread

Dilly Bread

Soften 1 package active day yeast (or cake compress) in 1/4 cup warm
water.  Combine in mixing bowl:  

  • 1 cup (something) cottage cheese heated to lukewarm
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp instant mixed onions
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dill seed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • Softened yeast

Add 2 1/4 cups flour to form stiff dough, beating well after each
addition.  Cover until light and doubled.in size 50-60min.
 Punch down dough and turn well into well greased loaf pan or
8 inch round casserole.  Let sit for another 40 - 60min then
bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 min.  Pout melted butter and
salt and serve.
